South Koreans develop meat stylus for iPhone

Anyone who has ever tried to use an iPhone on a freezing cold day will understand the frustration of having to remove their gloves to do so. However, it seems that Apple fans in South Korea have developed an ingenious, and edible, alternative – sausages.

Snack sausages made by the CJ Corporation are compatible for use with the iPhone and other capacity touchscreens and are a great alternative to having to get frosty fingers out during a cold commute.

Hundreds of South Korean technology fans have been seen using the sausages on their touchscreens, and the phenomenon has been labeled the “meat stylus.”

Not only is the new sausage stylus good for the usual ‘finger tapping’ motion that the iPhone screens respond so well to, they can also be used to play games on the iPhone and on other similar devices.

Sales of the snack sausages are soaring as a result of the discovery, suggesting that Apple and HTC may have to forfeit their race to develop a new capacity stylus for use on touchscreens. It seems that anything developed by these firms are likely to be much less attractive than the tasty sausage stylus!
