Nokia X6 Comes With Music from today
The "ultimate device for social butterflies", the Nokia X6, has gone on sale from today. Available on the Orange network, anyone with an old N-series smartphone can trade it in at Phones4U to get the X6 for free on a £25-per-month contract.
Otherwise, the Symbian device is free on an 18-month Orange contract at £35 per month, or can be ordered – unlocked and SIM-free – from Nokia's online store for around £400, depending on your region.
Complete with Nokia's Comes With Music service, the X6 is described by its manufacturer as "a stellar offering", providing music fans with the power to download "all the music they could ever want" quickly, easily and for free.
"We are giving people a handy access to and ownership of a vast music library and a great new touchscreen device to play their music on," adds Ole Feddersen, Nokia's vice-president of smartphones.
Capable of playing up to 35 hours of music, the X6 offers 32GB of on-board memory and supports all the main digital music formats. It has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, a five-megapixel camera with auto-focus and Carl Zeiss lens, as well as WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 2.0.
